UT Austin invites our employer partners to connect with our 50,000+ undergraduate and graduate students and alumni from 170+ fields of study through 12twenty@Texas, our campus-wide recruitment platform.
In June 2025, UT Austin transitioned from Handshake to 12twenty for our campus career management and recruitment software. The following guide helps you create an account and introduces you to the features and options for recruiting Longhorn talent.
Login to Your Account
New 12twenty Users: Create your account and link your account to your Employer record.
New Users – Create Your Account
Current 12twenty Users: As a current 12twenty user with a different university, you can login to the UT Austin platform here using your existing 12twenty login credentials.
Handshake Data: We have imported your organization’s jobs, events and other activity from Handshake to your organization’s new 12twenty Employer record.
Homepage
Each time you logon, you will enter your homepage. Your homepage includes:
- Announcements – messages shared with you by UT Austin career services
- Hot Buttons – quick access to post a job, host an event, schedule an interview and register for a career fair when you have full access to the site

Verified to Recruit at UT Status
Some employers and contacts have a “Verified to Recruit at UT” status, which allows you to request job postings and engage with UT Austin through the 12twenty platform. These are employers who post jobs and align with our campus-wide Recruiting Guidelines.
Once you log in and request to connect with the school, your employer profile will go through a brief review process. If your organization was previously approved to recruit at UT through our Recruit UT system, that approval will carry over, and you’ll be granted the same access in 12twenty.
Jobs, Internships & Events
12twenty@Texas provides free access to our campus-wide job board. Post your job and internships by clicking the [+ Post a Job] button. You can also request an interview schedule by clicking the [+Request an Interview] button. These requests will be reviewed and moderated for approval.
Once you’ve submitted postings, on this page you will see a list of your postings with relevant details, like job status, applicants and interview scheduling.
On the Events page, you will see a list of employer-related events hosted by UT Austin. From that list, you can view event status and you can click on those that are open for registration. You can also request to host an information session or coffee chats by clicking the [+ Host an Event] button. Events that you register for will be included in the orders section of your user profile.
